When you arrive in the morning at NRG Paintball Games and prior to the safety briefing you will be issued with your paintballing equipment for the day. This will include the following items: a one-piece camouflage suit, protective head snood, body armour (this is optional for over 16s), a four-pot battle pack and a Scott paintball mask (helmet). After the safety briefing and battle plan for your first mission, you will be issued your Tippmann semi-automatic paintball marker (or GUN!) from the gunroom. Now you are ready to play!
NRG only use the latest paintball equipment available on the market today. This will add to your total playing experience resulting in a trouble-free day whilst at our venue. Your paintball marker will be maintained by our experienced staff, who will clean it for you between missions.
The tank on the back of the gun is good for 600-800 shots and if it runs low we will refill it free of charge. The paintball loader on top of the gun will hold around 200 paintballs. If you run out you can reload at a cost of £7.00 per 100 balls, £32.50 for 500 or £60.00 per 1000.

All the equipment you need for the day's paintballing (except gloves and boots) is included in your game fee and there are no 'hidden extras' or costly upgrades to consider. Everyone gets the same equipment, which is of the highest quality. We also have a policy of keeping our equipment meticulously maintained, cleaned and constantly updated for your enjoyment.
At NRG Paintball Games, we only use state of the art equipment, therefore ensuring maximum enjoyment. Every Player is issued with a top of the range tournament spec. semiautomatic gun which comes with a full tank of Air that lasts all day.
Air refills (if needed) are free! Each gun holds up to 200 paintballs with refills available at any time.
TIPPMANN SEMI-AUTOMATIC MARKER The Tippmann 98 semi-automatic paintball marker. Accurate, non-clogging and utterly reliable! This GUN is the workhorse of the industry and if it were a car then it would be a V.W. - just put the key in and it works! CO² powered and capable of firing 6 balls per second it makes for a formidable weapon out on the field. Accurate to around 100 feet but capable of shooting twice that distance (if you can see that far!) it will perform the task at hand all day long. The gas tank is good for around 600-800 shots depending on the ambient air temperature. The hopper on top of the gun carries some 200 paintballs at a time - enough for at least one game! All the guns are set at the industry limit of 300 fps and are checked each time they are used. If for any reason you are unhappy with your gun then please let us know on the day and we will issue you with a catapult! Just joking of course, we will change it for another unit.
SCOTT FULL PROTECTION PAINTBALL MASK
This is the most important piece of kit you will be issued and must be maintained correctly all day whilst on site. You will be given full instruction on how to fit and adjust the unit before you will be allowed to play, and also on how to use the Calotherm anti-fogging solution provided. These goggles have been especially designed for the use of playing paintball and can withstand a direct shot to the lens. The unit offers you eye, ear and head protection. It comes with an added peak to keep the rain and sun out of your vision.
HEAD SNOOD
The Snood is designed to protect your neck and head and is a compulsory piece of equipment. It is made from Aertex, which has lots of tiny holes in it to let out excess body heat from your head. This will help to stop your goggles from fogging up. Incorporated in its design are padded areas to provide extra protection to the forehead, ears and throat.
ONE PEICE CAMMO SUITS
Available in four sizes - small, medium, large and extra large. The camouflage pattern used is British D.P.M. (Disrupted Pattern Material) and the suit has elasticised cuffs and ankles with poppers to secure the front. These suits are made from a light cotton drill and will give your clothes protection against mud and paint during the day.

BODY ARMOUR
This piece of equipment is made from closed cell expanded foam and is fully adjustable to compliment the most demure figure. It is available for our Young Gunz and ladies. However, if any one else wishes to wear this top bit of kit they only need to ask..
BATTLE PACK POT HOLDER
Made from tough nylon, this is another top bit of equipment. Fully adjustable for the fuller figure or the smaller Young Gun it will carry your paintballs all day. You can fit up to 4x 100 ball pots in these packs.
PAINTBALLS
Only paintballs provided by NRG Paintball may be used on site. The paintballs we use are non toxic and bio degradable and the shell, which is made from gelatine, is specially designed for the site use. Paintballs come in many different colour blends and are changed regularly in order to keep track of what we are shooting.
GLOVES
The only part of your body that is uncovered is your hands. We recommend that you bring gloves with you or you can purchase specially designed paintball gloves for £6 per pair. We DO NOT supply gloves with your equipment!
BOOTS
This is a piece of equipment that you should not ignore; they are essential to your well-being whilst you are playing paintball. To avoid twisted ankles or - even worse - a broken ankle, then you should ensure that you wear the proper footwear. We have seen every thing from Nike trainers to Gucci Shoes but recommend tough boots with adequate ankle protection and a good tread underfoot. If you do not own a pair of hiking boots then do you own a pair of football, rugby or hockey boots? If you have to wear trainers then wear an old pair. Footwear cleaning facilities are available on site (a bucket of water and stiff brush) to clean footwear before getting back in your car. We DO NOT supply footwear with your equipment.

WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable loose clothing and sensible footwear is required and whilst coveralls are available, a change of clothing in cold conditions is advisable. A sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in and have the day of your life.
